This tour will take you to Iceland’s most unique and spectacular sights of lava tube caves and craters.

You will enter through narrow cave entrances and find revealing extraordinary scenery of colors and lava formations. These beautiful, natural phenomena were created when the surface lava hardened and the fluid lava continued to flow in tubes underneath.

You will also see natural stalactites and many different rock formations which will make this an indescribable experience of your lifetime!

 Ticket Information

Tour availability: Saturday & Sunday.

Departure Time:  1pm.

Finishing Time:  4pm.

Duration: approx. 3 Hrs.

Times are approximate and subject to change. Client will need to contact resort office at least 24hrs prior to departure to reconfirm.

Meeting Point: Is at your hotel or guesthouse: 30 minutes prior to tour departure. Please wait outside or at the entrance of your hotel.

Dress Code: Please dress according to the weather.

Important Information:

• The trip can become rather difficult so we recommend you bring good walking shoes or hiking boots which are suitable for uneven lava surfaces.
•  Respect for nature and safety are our main concerns. There are no handrails, lights or any pre-installed tools in or around the caves.
• We rely completely on the equipment we carry and that people respect our guidelines.
• This tour is suitable for all who can walk on uneven surfaces and at times, crawling on all fours to get through narrow places.
• This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 11.
